BackerKit surveys are now with you all! Please fill these out as quickly as you can, as then I can get the best idea of how many to order. 

I sneakily added an extra question after they were sent, so if you got in really quickly and did your survey before this update was posted please go in again and double check you answered all of the questions 😊I thought it might be easier to get an idea in advance of who would switch out for a blue cardigan should they get unlocked.

Here are a few FAQ answers for you!

• Surveys are sent to the email address you use to log in to Kickstarter!
• Can't find your survey? Use BackerKit Support 
• You have until September 30th to fill out your survey! Miss this deadline and you may not get your first choice of cardigan design or size. You get brownie points for filling it out sooner than this 🥰 
• You will be charged for shipping and any add-ons at the start of October
•  You can change your address using the same link emailed to you right up until stock arrives here at HQ. You will get plenty of warning before I lock addresses.
• You are wonderful and I hope you're having a lovely day!!

Blue Dragon Cardigan - Clearing Up Some Confusion!

Hello! I have had a lot of people asking questions about the blue dragon cardigan so thought I'd do a post to try and answer them for you guys.

The Blue Dragon Silhouette cardigan was not unlocked by the Kickstarter campaign. Therefore, it is not available to choose as a pledge reward right now. I will however add it as a pledge reward if we get 100 new preorders for it, as this will cover the cost to manufacture enough extra cardigans for you guys. This is the fairest way I can think to do it! 

The 100 pre-orders to unlock them as a reward does not include cardigans purchased as add-ons by backers - this is because I'm offering them to you at cost price of £30, so no extra stock cardigans are funded by your preorders, make sense?

I will not be refunding any pledges because the design you wanted was not unlocked during the campaign. It is your responsibility as a backer to keep an eye on the campaign and to decide whether to cancel your support before the end of it. If I now refund a whole load of pledges it would jeoperdise the campaign as a whole, potentially meaning I can't fund the cardigans that were unlocked. I am trying my very hardest to get you the blue ones but if there isn't funding for them you will still get an awesome dragon cardigan!

I hope this all makes sense. I will be sending the first batch of surveys shortly - should these go well the rest will be sent early next week!

Unlocked Stretch Goals Info

I've received lots of queries as to whether the blue dragon or white konpeito cardigans will be available. These weren't unlocked as part of the Kickstarter so won't be available to choose as reward options but I have added them to BackerKit as add-ons in the hopes of still funding them! Backers of the Kickstarter will be able to snag these at an extra special (even cheaper than early bird) price, this is to thank you for your support. If the mimimum order quantity for these designs is not met you won't be charged for these items, so make sure to add them to your pledge if you'd like them! 

Shipping and Add-ons via BackerKit will be charged for at the start of October, so you have a little time before you'll need to pay for anything 💖

Survey Info

Soon, you’ll receive an email from me with a link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since I need this information to fulfill your rewards. Please try to get these in as soon as possible! Any surveys received after September 2021 may not receive their first choice of reward.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before I close the surveys and get the final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support.

New Lower Stretch Goals!

I have exciting news! I have been able to lower the stretch goal funding targets for the next two designs, hopefully making them more achievable!! To celebrate, I have extended the availability of the Early Bird pricing for pledges of two cardigans or more, this way you can add another cardigan to your pledge at the special discounted price. Simply change your reward tier to one of the early bird options, these will be available until the 15th (Sunday) at midnight BST.

You will notice that the delivery date for the Blue Dragon and White Konpeito designs is later with these new funding targets. This is because my manufacturer can offer a lower minimum order quantity outside of the peak knitwear season. If we reach the original final stretch goal of £25600 this will unlock December delivery for the blue dragon and white konpeito designs. Please note! The pink/yellow dragon and black konpeito designs are not effected by the date change and will still arrive in time for Christmas 2021.

Hopefully we can get some more pledges in and unlock these beauties!

At time of writing we are just over 2 hours into this campaign and 70% of the way to unlocking the first goal - thank you so much!! Your support means so much to me, there really aren't words to express how grateful I am to every single one of you.

A Note On Sizing

I wanted to address a matter mentioned on Twitter regarding sizing. I have been accused of not being inclusive due to the sizes I am offering - this is not a choice that is down to me but manufacturers. I have spoken to countless manufacturers in my quest to find one who can offer a high quality product, for a reasonable price, in a selection of sizes within the UK. The majority of producers could only go up to a size L or XL, this is the only one I found who could go larger! This is down to the size of the machine beds, obviously as one person I can't afford (unless this kickstarter goes INSANELY well 🤣) to buy a factory with custom built machinery to produce larger sizes, I but wish I could. I did not want to out source to another country to limit my environmental impact and to support the economy within my country. My manufacturer is another small business and they have been nothing but supportive and have worked incredibly hard to create these beautiful samples. My buttons are coming from another UK based, family run supplier. All of my choices have been made as ethically and responsibly as possible and it hurts to be accused of choosing a manufacturer without thought for larger individuals! 

As a considerably larger than average person, I understand what it is like to miss out on a product because it's not offered in your size and I am wholeheartedly sorry if you are affected by this. I am constantly on the look out for alternative suppliers and if I find one who can cater to larger sizes I will do a run of them in the future. At my biggest, the 4XL would not have fit me, so please know that I in no way want to exclude people on purpose but I do not have the capacity to produce larger sizes at present. This is a huge problem with the industry as a whole and it is very upsetting to be jumped as an indie designer and accused of purposefully leaving people out - you can probably tell I'm quite hurt by this!
